HOUSTON CHAPTER PRESIDENT

President's Message

The Houston Chapter is 29 Queens strong and growing! In January 2025, we elected a new executive and welcomed 7 new Queens-mostly ’90s sisters-to our vibrant house.

We sadly mourned the loss of our dear Queen Sister Monica Ndongmo in December 2024, laid to rest in March 2025. May her soul rest in peace. We are charting a fresh path with full financial compliance and active efforts to support our Alma Mater. We proudly made a donation at the 2024 Boston convention and are working on more.

Coming up: a Mother’s Day Celebration in 2026, and we’re counting on our sisters’ support! Houston is a diverse sisterhood-from 30s to 80s. We meet monthly (6 virtual, 6 physical), celebrate each
other’s birthdays, and uphold the joy and unity of our community.

Houston is where the best Monikim dancers reside. Come visit us-no show, just soul.
